World — New Regions, Dungeons & the December Raids

The World

Four new regions, nine new dungeons, and more than 1,000 new quests woven through the whole 1–60 journey. Forever is set before Molten Core — an early Azeroth expanded, not replaced.

The Atlas

Four New Regions

Two of the four have no published level bracket; their dossiers leave it open.

Zephras Isle

Levels 1–12
  • Skyborne starting experience — an elemental, skybound island blending Classic Warcraft aesthetics with Skywall-inspired architecture.
  • Home of the shen'dorei; the faction choice (Windshaper / High Order) is made at character creation.
  • Access comes with the Skyborne Heroic Pack or higher — a subscription alone does not unlock the race or its start.

The Riverglades

Mid-30s to mid-40s
  • A rugged frontier of rivers, grasslands, trade routes, struggling communities, and old grudges.
  • Contains the Krol'dok Stronghold dungeon (40–45).
  • Quest count is an open conflict in Blizzard's own posts — see Unresolved, below.

Shen'dralas

No official level range published

No published bracket; fan sources disagree (40–45 vs 45–53).

  • A long-hidden mystery between Mulgore and Desolace, tied to the Shen'dralar, Eldre'Thalas, Dire Maul, and the centaur tribes of the region.
  • Players uncover forgotten history in Shen'dralas.

Shen'dralas

Mount Hyjal

No official zone bracket published

Its two raids are level 60 content (Dec 9). Blizzard has published no levelling bracket for the zone itself.

  • Explore the aftermath of Archimonde's defeat and help restore a recovering land.
  • Journey through Darkwhisper Gorge.
  • Barrow Deeps lies within and under Hyjal; Hyjal Summit stands at the peak, near Nordrassil.
